If your press release is on editorial hold, you will get email about this issue along with feedback on how to fix it. When a press release is on editorial hold then it's unable to be approved because it violates our editorial guidelines. To get your press release approved, edit your release (and website if needed), so that your press release can be approved.
Once you know the reason why your press release was placed on editorial hold, you can work on editing your press release or website to fix the policy issue that's preventing it from being approved. In most cases, all you have to do is make changes to your press release text. In other cases, you have to edit both your press release and website.
